Calvinball Summery

We are all finished with Calvinball at Get It Scrapped!  I finished up with 150 points, I had about 140 yesterday morning then completed a few more layouts, commented on 20 other layouts, loaded 20 pages into page protectors and then into an album and  realized I had one more point for submitting a layout to critique 🙂

Overall the moth was incredible productive!  Here are a couple of my favorite layouts from the month:

This layout was created not only for Calvinball but a series of challenges over at Jenni Bowlin (JBS) They were running a crop during March as well. I used both her December paper crafting kit and the December Artisan add on kit.

This layout was also created for both JBS and Calvinball.  I used chalkboard paint, white Sharpies and black sketch pens to complete all the writing and doodling.

This photo turned out horribly blurry BUT I love the layout.  It is a mix of elements from JBS and SEI the title work is done on vellum with Sharpie and Bic permanent markers.  The corrugated cardboard was wiped with gesso then torn and the crystals are tied on loops of twine and have small glue dots at the know and crystal to hold them “dangling”.  Both the crystals and the beautiful trees are from JBS and they are just the perfect touches (I was really excited to find way to include the crystals!)

I should have a mother post this week with layouts at Get It Scrapped and then next week will be my first post for RubberMoon!

Happy Tuesday!
